About this module

This module traces the retirement fund trustee's duty from appointment to every live decision.

It works from South Africa's own binding law: the Pension Funds Act, FSCA Conduct Standards, and King V. The governing-body duty it teaches is shared. Whether you sit on a board of directors, a board of trustees, a public-entity council or accounting authority, or a body corporate, the accountability is yours. Intermediate means we assume you know what a fund is. We start where the accountability starts: the day you take your seat. [123/180 chars, PASS]. Promoted lead line, shown large above the body.

The two tools
Retirement Fund Governance Maturity Assessment (South Africa)
Scores your fund's governance maturity across the key trustee duty areas.
Service Provider & Outsourcing Oversight Controls (SA Retirement Funds)
Walks you through steps to verify oversight of outsourced service providers.
